Hyundai 2011 football festival kicks off

-

MANILA, Philippines - The second Hyundai 2011 Next Generation football festival kicks off Saturday at the Greenfield City Sports Field in Sta. Rosa, Laguna with 115 teams making up the 12-division field.

Presented by Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. in partnership with the Manila Soccer Academy, the two-day tournament ending Sunday is open to club and school teams with players from age 4 to adults in the open division. It will be one of the biggest local football tournaments in terms of total number of participating teams.

To spice up the event, Hyundai is setting up a face painting booth for kids while parents can test drive Hyundai’s latest models in the adjoining test drive area.

Pure Play Sports Management, together with MSA and venue partner Greenfield City are co-organizing the grassroots football development program aimed at expanding the base of soccer players in the country.
