PSC chief tackles SEAG campaign

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richie Garcia heads a long list of guests in today’s session of the PSA Forum at Shakey’s UN Ave.

Two days before leaving for Palembang, Indonesia together with the bulk of the 700-plus Philippine delegation for the 26th Southeast Asian Games, Garcia will discuss the country’s campaign in the Nov. 12-22 biennial meet in the public sports program aired live over DZSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Smart, Pagcor, Outlast Battery, and Shakey’s.

Also guesting are Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive director Sonny Barrios accompanied by Eric Altamirano and Alex Compton to talk on the coming Coaches Convention on Nov. 11-13 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, along with officials of next month’s third Quezon City International Marathon.

Completing the week’s guests list are Allan Gregorio for the Higanteng Magilas point guard academy and executives of the Darts Council of the Philippines to discuss the Manny Pacquiao dartfest this December.

 PSA president Rey Bancod of Bulletin-Tempo meanwhile, announced that the forum will have a two-week break on Nov. 15 and 22 to give way to the country’s participation to the SEA Games.
