Four share NCA derby honors
MANILA, Philippines - Elmer Nepomuceno’s Erwin and Arman Santos’ Jade Red 1 scored five points to share top honors with two others in the National Cockers Alliance stag derby last week at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Gerry Ramos’ AAO and Boyet Joson’s MBJ also pooled five points each to emerge co-champions in the sixth leg of the derby circuit.
Bebot Roxas’ Panique Tarlac wound up with 4 1/2 points to finish solo fifth followed by the CPB JGT Firefly Binangonan AAO of Claude Bautista, the All Force Roma of Danny Soriano, the LDB Sports Arena and Pugo Combine of Ka Luding and Rey Soberano, the AAO Hitcock of Gerry Ramos and the Oxford Princes of Mayor Panganiban, who all scored four points in the weekly event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.
Meanwhile, the NCA holds the Big Event on Oct. 25 with a star-studded field seeing action with their respective entries, including Rudy and Jun Jingco, Mayor Boyet Joson, Allan Siaco, Manny and Arman Santos, Bebot Roxas,Gerry Ramos, Raymond Burgos, Osang dela Cruz, Atong Ang, Claude Bautista, Cesar Tan, Jun Mendoza, Efren Canlas, Danny Soriano, Magno Lim, Mario Villamor, Johnny Jalandoni, Mayor Ellan Nagano, Elmer Nepomuceno, Patrick Antonio, Gov. Ito Ynares, Ruel Ricafort, Rudy Albano, Ka Luding, and Rey Soberano.
