Malditas yield to Myanmar XI

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Malditas absorbed a numbing 0-2 setback to Myanmar at the start of their campaign in the AFF Women’s Championship at the National Stadium in Vientiane, Laos last Monday.

My Nilar Htwe scored both goals for the Myanmar side in the first half of the Group B match, sending the Filipina booters to a must-win situation against Thailand today at 4 p.m. (5 p.m. in Manila) for a spot in the semis.
