Handy Fix caging resumes
MANILA, Philippines - Action in the first Handy Fix Super League National Barangay Championship resumes today with the staging of the Luzon and Mindanao legs.
At the Brgy. 811, Zone 88 covered court on 1st St. Main Paco, San Andres Bukid Manila, Brgy. 769 takes on Brgy. 753 and Brgy 802 meets Brgy. 848, while Brgy. 741 clashes with Brgy. 737 and Bgy. 738 tangles with Brgy 56 tomorrow.
The tournament is sponsored by Sapal Elastic Sealant, Max! Bond Super Glue, Max! Masking Tape, Max! Electrical Tape, Maxweld, Metal Guard, Red Brake Fluid and Unilab.
Over in Davao, the battle for finals berths reaches fever pitch as Brgy. 7-A meets Brgy. Sasa at 12 noon; Brgy. Agdao tests Brgy. 38-D at 1:30 p.m.; Brgy. 74-A Matina meets Brgy. 76-A Bucana at 3 p.m.; and Brgy. Buhangin tangles with Brgy. 7-A at Buhangin Gym, 6 Div. Rd., Davao City tomorrow.
The crossover semifinals are slated Oct. 22.
The Digos City leg finals are set on Oct. 22 and 23, 1 p.m., at the Digos City Gym and Brgy. San Jose covered court-Poblacion, while the Panabo City leg finals will be on Oct. 29 and 30, 1 p.m., at the Brgy. Katipunan Gym.
The Mindanao regional finals will be on Nov. 6 at Buhangin Gym in Davao City, and the national finals Nov. 12-13 at Atillo Gym, Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
