Manglicmot tops ABC fun bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Dante Manglicmot of Crown Supreme Pipes waxed hot with 1552 pinfalls to rule the Architects Bowling Club’s fun game at ABC’s new home at the E Lanes Bowling Center in Greenhills, Ortigas last week.

Hermie Prudente of Eurodach Roofing turned in a 1502 to place second while Denis Jalandoon of Duraflex TW Wires rolled 1446 to finish third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Javier is elected 2012 ABC president. The other elected officers were Bibs Luzande (VP admin), Jalandoon (VP tournament), Romi de Jesus (secretary), Kathlyn Ong (treasurer), Hermi Prudente (auditor), Bert Magsakay (PRO), Ricky Martinez (director) and Noel del Rosario (immediate past president).

The tournament, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., August Alliance, Morning Sun, Famcor, Pro Active Pest Control, Concrete Ventures, HCG Phl, Miraga, Crown PVC Pipes, Boysen Knoxout/Perlecente/Suede, Firefly-Royu, ABC Phl, Philflex Wires and Cables, Unitec Pipes, Duraflex THHN/THW Wires, DN Steel, Moldex Pipes, Homeworks, Atlanta Pipes, Emerald Pipes and Nation Titan, resumes at 6:30 tonight with the staging of the third quarterly championship, also at E Lanes in Greenhills.
