NCA derby circuit resumes at Ynares

MANILA, Philippines - The fifth leg of the National Cockers Alliance derby circuit will be held Oct. 11 with the country’s leading breeders expected to field in their respective aces at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Heading the cast in the upcoming event, hosted by Gerry Ramos and Atong Ang and the NCA, are Patrick Antonio, Eric dela Rosa, Elmer Nepomuceno, Danny Soriano, Magno Lim, Gov. Ito Ynares, the Firefly Group, Claude Bautista, George Torres, Bebot Roxas, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas, Rudy and Jun Jingco, Jet Fernando;

Mario Villamor, Manny and Armand Santos, Ruel Ricafort, Homer Mercado, Gerry Ramos, Atong Ang, Ellan Nagano, Boyet Joson, Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz and Jun Mendoza.

Meanwhile, the Goldquest Champions of Osang dela Cruz dominated the fourth leg last week with six points. The EB Puracuenos of Daboy/ Ferdinand and the MBJ Nelson Uy of Boyet Joson shared runner-up honors with five points.

Mario Villamor’s Phoenix, the RT 114 Roosterville of Ruel Ricafort, and the Jade Red 2 of Arman Santos came next with 4 1/2 points each. Elmer Nepomuceno’s Erwin and the Jimafer GLE-CLE of Gerry Escalona, the Magnefor of Ricky Magtoto, and the JIMAFER BG of Efren Canlas wound up with four points apiece.
