'A Round of Golf' marks Season 10

MANILA, Philippines - A Round of Golf, the only golf TV show in the country, marks its Season 10 at 8 tonight on Solar Sports with an interesting roster of segments, including highlights of the Aboitiz Invitational Presented by ICTSI and golfing tips from coach Jun Cedo.

Jay Bayron displays his final round brilliance to outclass the field and retain the crown in the $65,000 Aboitiz Invitational, the first local tournament to be featured on the Asian Development Tour that also attracted a slew of foreign players.

Hosted by Dominic Uy, AROG also features the comeback segment ICTSI ProFiles with focus on Mhark Fernando, the former national champion who scored a breakthrough victory in the recent ICTSI Del Monte Championship, beating Juvic Pagunsan by three.

The Golf Gear portion, meanwhile, introduces the EFX Bracelets while Cedo shows how to use a pen or marker to keep one’s left wrist firm while putting.

A Round of Golf, presented by Air21 and produced by UBE Media, is shown every Thursday at 8 p.m. on Solar Sports at Global Destiny (Channel 35), Sky Cable Digital (Channel 70), and Cablelink (Channel 31).
