Hawks back in NAASCU finals

MANILA, Philippines - University of Manila beat Informatics International College, 98-66, to reach the finals of the NAASCU men’s caging for the ninth time in 11 years.

Jeff Viernes fired a tournament-best 42 points as the Hawks outclassed the ICC cagers to book the first finals berth in the tournament at the Makati Coliseum.

Eugene Torres shot 21 points while Andrew Rivera and Jay-Ar Manuel churned out double-double games of 12 points and 11 assists and 10 points and 12 rebounds, respectively, for the Hawks.
