Alumni poker set at Airport Casino

MANILA, Philippines - Graduates from any school are invited to join the “Alumni/Alumnae Non-Cash No Limit Texas Hold ‘em Poker Tournament for a Cause” on Sept. 24 at the Airport Casino Filipino Forum Hall, PIRC Bldg. Ninoy Aquino Ave., Parañaque City.

Participants are requested to wear their school colors, including the non-alumni/alumnae friends and guests who are playing for the school of their choice. There will be a team and individual competitions. Registration starts at 1 p.m.

The tournament buy-in is P2,000 plus P500 (for food and drinks) and P2,000 for re-buys (up to the end Level 6) and one add-on before the start of level 7. The first 100 paid and registered participants will be given P2,000 worth of free bets each to be played in the casino after the tournament.

There is a guaranteed prize pool of P400,000 in free bets with P100,000 worth of free bets going to the champion plus other items and a trophy. The top 20 finishers will share the prize pool. Other prizes include electronic items and gift certificates.

For the team competition, points will be given to each team depending on what position their players finish in the tournament. Pagcor will donate cash prizes to the top three team’s charitable institutions of their choice.
