Hilario rapid chess tourney set Oct. 2

MANILA, Philippines - A three-division rapid chess tournament dubbed as the third Councilor Virgilio Hilario Rapid chess tournament will be played Oct. 2 at Alphaland Southgate Mall’s Food Court in Makati City.

Events on tap are the non-master, all-women and elementary/high school divisions.

The non-master offers a cash prize of P10,000 plus trophy for the champion. The country’s women titled players are eligible to play in the non-master division of the event, organized by the Barangay Bangkal Chess Club in cooperation with the Alphaland Southgate Mall.
