Crown Supreme Pipes tops ABC team event

MANILA, Philippines - Dante Manglicmot, Eugene Panaguiton and Boyet Libiran of Crown Supreme Pipes combined for 2246 to top Group 1 while Jimmy Ocampo, Sonny Esguerra and Vic Sison of Duraflex THHN Wires captured the Group 2 plum with 2009 in the Architects Bowling Club’s leg circuit three-man team event at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

May Sabater, Jun Cheng and Hermie Prudente of HCG Phl scored 2216 while Jerry Cham, Joan Mendoza and Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Perlecente had 2141 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group I in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Paul Ayson, Francis Figuracion and Bert Magsakay of Crown PVC Pipes rolled 1966 while Albert Ong, Cynthia Tan and Kathlyn Ong of Nation Paints scored 1965 to settle for second and third, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, ABC president Noel del Rosario is inviting all Davao City architects and Visayas and Mindanao ABC Chapters to join the ABC Vis-Min anniversary tournament on Oct. 21 and 22. Also on tap is the chartering of Davao City Chapter of ABC on Oct. 22 awards night at B-3 Bowling Lanes at NCCC Mall, Maa, Davao City.

The tournament, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ABC Phl, August Alliance, Morning Sun, Famcor, ProActive Pest Control, Concrete Ventures, Miraga, Eurodach, Boysen Knoxout/Suede, Firefly Royu, Philflex Wires and Cables, Unitec Pipes, Duraflex TW/THW Wires, DN Steel, Moldex Pipes, Homeworks, Atlanta Pipes and Emerald Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
