MANILA, Philippines - An eight-round flyweight bout pitting an upstart from Bacolod City and a veteran native of Cagayan de Oro headlines this week’s featured bout in Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over NBN-4.

Mike Espanosa clashes with Bryan Diano in the 7-8 p.m. boxing program presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron.

Espanosa hails from Negros Occidental, while Diano is from Misamis Oriental. Both had fought prominent local fighters in the past such as Jecker Buhawe and Froilan Saludar.

Previous fight of Espanosa will be shown prior to the main bout.

Meanwhile,a big boxing promotion featuring one Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) championship for a main event and two Philippine title fights will be held on Sept 16 in Muntinlupa City.
