MANILA, Philippines - Kamayan Golf Club and Golfing Members of the Media renew their rivalry today in the Triple V-Media Invitational Golf Classic at the Aguinaldo Golf Club course in Quezon City.
It will be the 25th edition of the event, which started in 1987 as part of the annual anniversary of the Triple V Group of Restaurants.
The Kamayan Golfers will be defending the Tito Eduque Cup against the Media, which is determined to stop a losing streak in this 18-hole dual meet.
Tee-off is at 7 a.m.
The Cup is named after the late Tito Eduque, former national basketball coach and chairman of the Triple V Group who would have celebrated his birthday on Aug. 26. He died in 2001.
The Cup will be contested for the 10th time.
