Dragon boat, table tennis in SCOOP

MANILA, Philippines - National teams in dragon boat and table tennis, which made their marks in separate international championships will be the guests in today’s SCOOP Sa Kamayan weekly session at the Kamayan Restaurant-Padre Faura.

The two teams had won a total 12 gold medals, five in dragon boat world tourney held in  Florida and seven in the US Open table tennis tilt held in Wisconsin, both in the United States.

Coach Nestor Ilagan will accompany the Pinoy Dragon Warriors in today’s session, sponsored by Coca-Cola Export, FILA, TV-5 and UNTV, while Peter Cua, an official of the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines, will head the Filipino racket wielders – Joseph Cruz, Richard Gonzales and Winston Jimenez.
