Letran Knights vs EAC Generals

The Letran Knights got a firm grip of the third spot  following a 76-67 win over the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals in the NCAA Season 87 men’s basketball action at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Knights drew big games from their frontcourt duo of Jam Cortes and Raymond Almazan as they chalked up their sixth win eight games to move closer to frontrunners San Beda Red Lions and San Sebastian Golden Stags, both toting immaculate 8-0 win-loss cards.

Cortes shot 18 points and grabbed 20 boards while Almazan had a near triple-double with 15 markers, 14 boards and six shot blocks.

The Generals, who dropped to 3-5, two games behind fourth running Lyceum Pirates (4-4), was led by Joshua Torralba's 18 markers. - Alder Almo
