EAC Generals VS UPHSD Altas

MANILA, Philippines – The Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals arrested a four-game slide with a 71-58 victory over host University Perpetual Help-Dalta System (UPHDS) Altas in the NCAA Season 87 today at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

After erecting an eight-point lead in the first half, 34-26, the Altas refused to go away and even tied the game at 41-all in the 4:36 mark of the third quarter.

The Generals, however, recovered their bearings and a Claude Cubo basket gave them a commanding 61-47 lead with under three minutes remaining. 

EAC improved to 3-4 while dealing its victim its sixth loss in seven games.  UPHDS is now tied with Arellano University in the bottom of the standings.
