Del Rosario, Ong rule ABC monthly

MANILA, Philippines - Joey del Rosario of Duraflex THHN Wires fired a six-game series of 1348 to bag the Group I crown while Kathlyn Ong of HCG Phl rolled a 1215 to cop the Group 2 plum in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

Dante Manglicmot of Crown Pipes Supreme scored 1317, Ronnie Javier of Moldex Pipes turned in a 1308 and Eugene Panaguiton of Unitec Pipes had 1291 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Frederick Chuongco of Nation Paints had 1178, Edna Beltran of Boysen Knoxout made an 1162 and Edwin Laguitan of ABC Phl came up with 1124, to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by Boysen Perlecente/Suede, Philflex Wires and Cables, Duraflex TW/THW Wires, Emerald Pipes, Atlanta Pipes, Homeworks, DN Steel, Firefly-Royu, Eurodach, Crown PVC Pipes, Miraga Trading, Concrete Ventures, ProActive Pest Control, Famcor, Morning Sun, August Alliance and Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., resumes at 7:30 tonight with the staging of the leg-circuit singles at Paeng’s bowling lanes in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City.
