Manila, Philippines - Filipino Antonio Lascuna fired a two-under-par 70 yesterday for a share of third place in the Worldwide Holdings Selangor Masters Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in Selangor, Malaysia.
Lascuna had earlier rounds of 70-69-66 for a 275 total and a tie with Adam Groom of Australia. They were two strokes off the winner, Joonas Granberg who went 62-75-70-66.
Lascuna took home $21,191 for his superb show in this Asian Tour leg. Compatriot Juvic Pagunsan earned a share of 14th place with a 68 for a 280 total and $5,193.
Elmer Salvador was a stroke behind after a 68 for a tie for 20th place while Angelo Que shot a 70 for a 281 total.
Granberg, who set a new course record 62 in the opening round, edged Thai teenager Panupohol Pittayarat by one stroke with his 15-under-par 273 winning total at the. The 24-year-old Finn pocketed US$60,902.
Sukree Othman of Malaysia provided the local cheers by soaring up the leaderboard with a superb 65 for tied fifth place with Australian Marcus Both (67) and Siddikur of Bangladesh (68) on 276.
