Tuason Racing guns for another win in GT series

-

Manila, Philippines - Ford Focus-Tuason Racing School eyes another impressive feat behind Alvin Ng and defending champion Sean Redpath as the 2011 Philippine GT Championship Series returns for its third leg July 17 at the Clark International Raceway.

Ng will be gunning for his second straight triumph and hopefully the solo lead in the GT130 class with the big support of Castrol, Bridgestone, Ford, OMP, Oakley, Coke Zero, Discovery Suites, Toptul, Speedlab, C! Magazine, ROTA, Starbright Bodykits, Dupont, Ultraracing, Aguila Autoglass and Belo Men.

Redpath is also raring to bounce back to boost chances for title retention.

Both Ng and Redpath were bogged with problems in the last race. But their determination pulled them through the odds on their way to a 1-3 finish respectively for Ford Focus-TRS.

Ng hit the wall during the time trials, causing heavy damage on the car. But the Ford Focus-TRS crew quickly worked on the repairs and got the car back in good condition in time for the big win in the final race by a far 40 seconds ahead of Nueva Ecija bet Dean Joson.

Redpath likewise had troubles of his own but his fighting spirit kept him going and was eventually rewarded.

“Our drivers only showed determination really pays off that despite minor problems, the reliability and superb performance of Ford Focus cars still prevail,” said TRS president JP Tuason.
