Wushu guest in SCOOP forum

Manila, Philippines - The extent of preparation Filipino athletes have undergone for the coming 2011 Southeast Asian Games this November will be on focus in today’s SCOOP Sa Kamayan weekly session at the Kamayan Restaurant-Padre Faura.

Wushu Federation of the Philippines secretary general Julian Camacho, national delegation deputy chef de mission and members of the working group formed by the Philippine Olympic Committee to oversee preparations as well as the formation of the contingent have been invited to shed light on the country’s participation in the biennial meet set in the two cities of Indonesia – Jakarta and Palembang.

Camacho and company are also expected to talk about the chances of the Philippines in improving its fifth place overall finish in the Games last edition two years ago in Laos during the public service forum sponsored by Coca-Cola Exports, FILA and TV-5.

Today’s program which starts at 11 a.m. will be aired later at 6 p.m. over TV 5 and UNTV.
