US, Korean judges to grace dog shows

MANILA, Philippines - Top-notch international all-breed judges John Ramirez of the American Kennel Club (AKC) and You Chang Soo “John Liu” of the Korean Kennel Club will grace the 43th and 44th Dog Shows of the Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines, Inc. (AKCUPI) tomorrow at Tiendesitas in Pasig City.

Seven breed groupings – sporting, hound, working, terrier, toy, non-sporting, and herding – will be fielded in the event where the best baby puppy, best Philippine-born and best in show will be chosen.

AKCUPI chairman/president Henry Babiera, also the head of the FCI Asia Pacific Section, is inviting dog lovers to watch the shows for free.
