Cudala heads TRS bets' national karting campaign

-

MANILA, Philippines - Tuason Racing School fields in its top-notch roster of young talents in the third leg of the 2011 National Karting Super Series unfolding Sunday at the Boomland Kart Track in Manila.

Castrol Champions of the Future overall champion Raymond Cudala heads Team TRS campaign in the Cadet SQ class along with Arthur Tuason, Wills Casequin and Flynn Jackes.

Cudala, Casequin and Tuason currently hold the top three spots in the race for the SQ Cadet crown while Jackes is out to improve on his fifth place in his debut in the last leg.

Cudala, an incoming 12-year-old Grade 6 student of Elizabeth Seton School, currently holds a perfect 150-point total as he goes for his third straight sweep of the event for solo leadership.

Casequin, the nine-year-old son of touring car champion and TRS race car driver Stuart MacDonald, is second overall with 107 points after finishing second and third in the first two legs.

Tuason, grandson of racing legend Arthur Tuason and son of multi-titled champ JP Tuason, is third overall with 94.

“They’ve proven they’re the country’s future racing superstars but this race will be a big test for the boys. They’ve tried the Boomland track before but it’s a different atmosphere now that they’re into real action,” said TRS president JP Tuason.

Team TRS campaign is backed by Castrol, Bridgestone, OMP, Coke Zero, Oakley, C! Magazine, Discovery Suites, Speedlab, Belo Men and Toptul.
