AKTV Run fires off at MOA Sunday

Manila, Philippines - The AKTV Run fires off Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia grounds with athletes and celebrities gracing the footrace marking the launch of AKTV, the sports channel of TV5.

Multi-titled runner Michelle Estuar leads the big cast of participants in the race along with amateur cager Eric Salamat of UAAP men’s basketball champion Ateneo and Sports5 reporters Rizza Diaz and Mav Gonzales.

AKTC, the new primetime sports and active lifestyle channel, will be aired on IBC Channel 13.

Events on tap are the 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K runs firing off as early as 4:45 a.m. (21K).

Families are also invited to join the AKTV Run where a fun fair will be set up at the Mall of Asia grounds.

Fans can meet and greet their favorite PBA players led by Meralco Bolts ace Macmac Cardona and Talk and Text shooter Larry Fonacier.
