Puno Cup stakes Volvo car for ace

MANILA, Philippines - A brand-new Volvo S40 will be up for grabs as hole-in-one prize in the first Chief Justice Puno Golf Cup, which fires off tomorrow at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City.

A Club Car golf cart and cash prizes courtesy of JM Pizarras and Associates, Grace Reyes Designs, Arizona Marketing Corp. and Club Car are also staked as prizes for ace in the fund-raising tournament for the former Chief Justice Reynato Puno’s clean and green program.

The 18-hole event is presented by San Miguel Corp. and Bank of Commerce and is put up by friends, colleagues and associates of the former Chief Justice in their support to the latter’s 100 million trees project.

Tee off is at 7 a.m.
