Segui, Martinez bag ABC anniv bowl
MANILA, Philippines - Buddy Segui of Emerald Pipes rolled a 12-game series of 2598 to capture the Group I Masters crown while Ricky Martinez of Famcor Glassworks topped Group 2 with 1917 in the Architects Bowling Club’s 34th anniversary tournament at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last Tuesday.
Ronnie Javier (2570) of Moldex Pipes, Hermi Prudente (2392) of Eurodach, Boyet Libiran (2342) of Concrete Ventures and Nepthy del Rosario (2300) of DN Steel finished second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Albert Ong (1775) of Boysen Perlecenter, Francis Figuracion (1766) of Crown PVC Pipes, Frederick Chuongco (1751) of Nation Paints and Malou del Rosario (1705) of Firefly-Royu placed second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in Group 2.
Violy Magsakay of Firefly-Royu topped the Corporate Cup.
The tournament, backed by Boysen Suede/Knoxout, Philflex Wires and Cables, Crown Supreme Pipes, Duraflex TW/THHN/THW Wires, Atlanta Pipes, Homeworks, ABC Phils., Unitec Pipes, Crown PVC Pipes, Miraga Trading, HCG Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Morning Sun and August Alliance, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
