UAAP: MSA ties up with Lady Eagles
MANILA, Philippines - Mighty Sports Association (MSA) has linked up with Ateneo women’s basketball team as the Lady Eagles bid to win the coveted UAAP crown this year.
MSA has bankrolled the participation of the Lady Eagles in a pre-season tournament.
Meantime, MSA, which launched several basketball tournaments as part of its grassroots development program recently, is also backing the Tata Flores Cup in Naga City.
For the first time, the tournament, which will now be known as the fourth Tata Flores Cup Mighty Sports Invitational Games, will have a competition for women with Ateneo among the invited teams.
Aside from the Lady Eagles, also invited are the Adamson Lady Falcons, NU Lady Bulldogs, Enverga University of Lucena, Ateneo de Naga, Bicol selection and La Consolacion College of Manila Blue Royals.
