-

MANILA, Philippines - Eight teams from Project 6 are vying for supremacy in the newly revived Barangay Kiddie Basketball Tournament being held at the Project 6 Basketball Court, Quezon City.

A total of 104 residents – 13-year-olds and below – are taking part in the event founded in 1994 by the Barangay Sports Council headed then by Kagawad Willy Balabat. The event, which was shelved for three years, has already benefited more than 1,000 youth/children residents of Project 6 since its birth.

The tournament, backed by Mayor Herbert Bautista, Councilor Onyx Crisologo and Barangay Chairman Honie Llamas, started last April 9. The final is tentatively set on May 29.
