Morning Sun rules ABC Sponsors Cup

Manila, Philippines - Andrew Frondozo, Boy Roldan and Nepthy del Rosario of Morning Sun combined for a 2405 to emerge the week’s top team in the Architects Bowling Club’s sixth week Sponsors Cup at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

DN Steel, composed of Mark Lopez, Tony Sabater and Del Rosario, pooled a 2324 for second while Ariel Uy, Edna Beltran and Frederick Chuongco of Nation Paints finished third with a 2313 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., August Alliance, Famcor Glassworks, ProActive Pest Control, Concrete Ventures, HCG Phils., Miraga Trading, Crown PVC Pipes, Eurodach, Boysen Suede/Perlecente/Knoxout, Firefly-Royu, Philflex Wires and Cables, Unitec Pipes, Duraflex THW Wires, ABC Phils., Moldex Pipes, Homeworks, Duraflex THHN/TW Wires, Atlanta Pipes, Emerald Pipes and Crown Pipes Supreme, resumes at 5 p.m. today for the qualifying event on the ABC anniversary tournament to be followed by the seventh Sponsors Cup, also at the Green Valley lanes.
