Coke Hoopla: Munti opens bid vs Taguig

Manila, Philippines - Muntinlupa kicks off its title retention drive tomorrow at resumption of the Inter-City phase of the second Coca-Cola Hoopla National Capital Region Championship at 10 various venues.

Muntilupa hosts Taguig at 6 p.m. at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex.

Last year, Muntinlupa stunned favored Pasig in the finals of the event designed to give players, especially non-varsity talents, coaches, fans and local government units a different avenue to interact in an atmosphere of fun and competition.

In other matches, Quezon City hosts Marikina at 6 p.m. at the Libis Covered Court; Pateros plays Pasig at 6 p.m. at the Aguho Covered Court; Valenzuela goes up against Navotas at 6 p.m. at St. Jude Malinta; Malabon duels with Caloocan at 7 p.m. at the Hulong Duhat Covered Court; Las Piñas battles Parañaque at 7 p.m. at the Aldana Gym; Cainta hosts Taytay at 6 p.m. at San Roque; Antipolo collides with Binangonan at 6 p.m. at San Jose; Manila squares off with Makati at 6 p.m. at the Brgy. 116 Zone 9 Covered Court; and Mandaluyong hosts San Juan at 5 p.m. at the Mandaluyong City Gym.

The emerging inter-city champion will represent its zone in the inter-zonal to decide the 2011 NCR champion.
