MANILA, Philippines - Young athletes from different schools in Metro Manila and nearby provinces show their wares in the kickoff event of the first Cherifer Football Festival, a seven-a-side tournament, on April 30 at the Ascom Football, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
Organizer Bernard Ocampo of Dream Sports Enterprises Event Management said the tournament is open to 12-, 13- and 16-under boys and girls who are students of participating schools.
Games will be held simultaneously in eight football fields of the Army Support Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Trophies, medals and Cherifer products await winners of the one-day tournament supported by Inter Med Marketing Philippines (Cherifer Vitamins), Philippine Army Football Club headed by Sgt. Ricky Cein.
The event is sanctioned by the Philippine Football Federation.
