NCA derby attracts elite cast

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance holds another derby Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City to be hosted by Gov. Ito Ynares and the Firefly Group and Eric de la Rosa.

An impressive roster of breeders and cockers will vie for top honors in the event, headed by Jojo Cruz, Bong Pineda, Gov. Amante, John-John Paulino, Mayor Panganiban, Atong Ang, William Ong, Ferdie Lim, Ramon Mancenarez and Ferdie Eusebio.

They will be up against a crack NCA lineup that includes Tommy Chua and Osang de la Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Rene Medina, Manny and Armand Santos, Bebot Roxas, Ruel Ricafort, Jun Santiago, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas, Jun Topacio, Jun Mendoza, Mariao Villamor, James Uy, Eddie Gonzales, Bong Carreon, Ellan Nagaño, Pete Ison, Boy Jiao, Rep. Rudy Albano, Ernie Austria, Bebot Uy, Iggy Arroyo and Arnold Mendoza. Sec. Ronnie Puno’s Sundance Grey and Rep. Patrick Antonio’s Pasay RCD 4-Cock April 29 dominated the NCA derby, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, last April 12 with five points. Osang de la Cruz’s Goldquest Champions finished with four points while Atong Ang’s Cobra, Ynares’ Rizal and Eddie Gonzales’ Imax.
