NCA derby unfolds at Ynares gym

MANILA, Philippines - The chase for the NCA cocker of the year award heats up when the National Cockers Alliance holds another blockbuster derby today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Jade Resort I paces the race with 37 1/2 points, two points ahead of Goldquest Champions and Magnefor Camsur, which both have 35 1/2 points. Against All Odd totes 35 points followed by SF San Roque Cockpit (34), Imax (33 1/2), Jimafer BG (31), Sagupaan Complexor 3000 (29 1/2), Mulawin SF (29), JAC (28 1/2) and Red Creek and Rizal I (27 1/2).

Hosted by Romy Lim and Manny Sazon, and Elmer Nepomuceno and Ricky Magtuto, the event also features top cockers Ben Lim and Jon-Jon Paulino along with Danny Soriano, Manuel Sy, Atong Ang, Bong Pineda and Elmer Nepomuceno and NCA members Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Rene Medina, Manny and Armand Santos, Bebot Roxas, Ruel Ricafort, Jun Santiago, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas and Gov. Ito Ynares.
