FEU joins Pacific Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Far Eastern U joins the hunt for the Pacific Online Cup crown, a summer basketball tournament for women serving as the final tune-up for teams vying in the UAAP, NCAA and WNCAA.

Organized by Mighty Sports Association and sponsored by Pacific Online, the event, tentatively set April 14, is expected to lure top collegiate teams.

Games will be held at the Jacinto Tiu Competition Court of Xavier School’s Fr. Rafael Cortina Sports Center. 

Meanwhile, slots remain open, according to Pacific Online Cup commissioner Vic Bartolome. For interested parties, contact Bartolome (0920-9255181) or Jessie Angchonghoo (0908-8735412).

According to FEU coach Mike Oliver and his assistant Allan Albano, their participation will test their readiness for the coming UAAP season. They recently won the Fr. Martin’s Cup and Metroball tournaments.

The event is the latest project of MSA which has been helping less-privileged kids in remote areas as well as developing their sporting skills through its various projects.
