MEFP charity run draws over 1,300 couples, families
MANILA, Philippines - Over 1,300 couples and their families and friends ran for charity recently to help the Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines’ (MEFP) raise funds for the MEFP Disaster Relief Fund.
MEFP president Robert Aventajado and his wife Tinette said the seed money “raised for our Disaster Relief Fund will go a long way towards helping our communities in the event of another calamity.”
The top three winners were Jared Miguel, John Botin, Roselyn Cari-An (1K), Sonia Triplitt, Michelle Valerio, Andreanna Lagman (2.5K women), Melchor Mirasol, Nani Blanco, Vicentito Condez (2.5K men), Donna Reyes, Nikki Heather Punzalan, Shiela Leondones (5K women) and Miles Embuedo, Gerald Maandal, Robert Callo (5K men).
The event, held March 19, was sponsored by San Miguel Corp., San Mig Coffee Pro-Health, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog, Poccari Sweat, LPGMA (LPG Marketer’s Association), and Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital.
