Junior Warriors join Fr. Martin Cup

MANILA, Philippines - The UE Jr. Warriors, winners of the national juniors under-16 championship in Iloilo last December, vie for another title as they compete in the Fr. Martin Cup Summer League which opens April 2. 

The Jr. Warriors’ stint in the tourney is part of coach Mark Herrera’s basketball program for the UE High School and Elementary basketball teams. Part of his program is to guide the kids at an earlier age so they can learn the basics and develop their skills. 

Herrera, the four-time champion coach in Jr. PBA who also handles the RP Youth Under-13 team, is now preparing his UE Jr. Warriors for the upcoming UAAP season.
