Spalding, Hoops School to hold summer camps

MANILA, Philippines - Spalding has tied up with Hoops School to conduct a series of basketball camps in eight venues – Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall (Starts April 8-9), Ynares Sports Arena in Shaw (April 29), Divine Light Academy in Las Piñas (April 11), Asian Development Bank (April 3), FAITH in Tanauan (April 2), Marian School (April 26), UP Village Covered Courts/Claret (April 4), and I.S. Montessori in Bocaue (April 26).

The Spalding Basketball Camps boast of high tech basketball training equipment, among them the Noah Computerized Shooting System, the Briten Power Passing Toss Back, special training balls, the pure shot, Ben Wallace defensive systems, and more.

Regular video viewing is also a regular feature, and a special skills challenge is conducted a the end of the camp for all participants.

For only P1,799, all in, kids can attend the basketball camps which run for about two and a half weeks and conducted by high caliber and seasoned trainers. Participants also get to bring home free Spalding basketballs, free Spalding reversible jerseys, free Spalding sports bag, and sports bottle.

Now on its ninth year, Hoops School, founded by former PBL commissioner Charlie Favis and PBA Best Import Bobby Parks, boasts of a number of varsity athletes, based on emails received from parents.

Hoops School utilizes many drills from the 5-star Camps, which Michael Jordan and LeBron James attended.
