NCA derby slated March 29
MANILA, Philippines - The coming National Cockers Alliance (NCA) derby on March 29 will be a big rumble since the hosts are Mayor Boyet Joson of Nueva Ecija and Danny and Joel Teves. The hosts are committed to surpassing the success of previous derbies hosted by other NCA members.
An indicator of the success of the coming derby is the list of participants who are well-known figures in the cockfighting world. Mayor Romy Castro, Bong Pineda, Atong Ang, Mayor Cesar Dy, Engr. Tuaño, Cong. Tarzan Lazatin, Rey Manalansan, Nes Vendebille and Voltaire Chua of Nueva Ecija, Mayor Urduña of Pangasinan, Gov. Vic Yap, Claude Bautista of Davao, JV Magsaysay of Zambales, and Ramon Preza are joining the derby.
They will battle NCA members, led by the champions of the recent March 15 derby, Vice Mayor Goto and Bebot Uy, Ferdie Eusebio, and Eddie Gonzales, and Patrick Antonio.
NCA members Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Elmer Nepomuceno, Rene Medina, Manny and Armand Santos, Bebot Roxas, Ruel Ricafort and Jun Santiago.
