Magnolia Srs golf fires off tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - The Magnolia Pure Water Seniors Golf Series, the Federation of the Philippine Amateur Senior Golfers Inc.’s annual tournament for its members, fires off tomorrow at the Eastridge Golf Club. Tee-off time is from 6:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m.

Members totaling 150 from 14 chapters are competing in the event, which stakes titles in the individual and team competitions.

The 18-hole tournament is hosted by the Eastridge Seniors Golf Association headed by its president Vice Gov. Frisco San Juan Jr. and sponsored by San Miguel Magnolia Pure Water.

Gen. Clyde Fernandez (Ret) heads the FPASGI board as president with Lirio Escaño Jr. and Gen. Melchor Rosales (Ret) as internal and external VPs, respectively. The other officers are secretary Emiliano Joven, treasurer Jacinto Perez, asst. treasurer Mario Lugay, auditor Cip San Miguel, director Dr. Napoleon Tan and director Col Arsenio Paredes (Ret).
