Moldex Pipes reigns in ABC Sponsors Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Zeny Prudente, Ronnie Javier and Ryan Jalandoon of Moldex Pipes combined for 2552 pinfalls to rule the Architects Bowling Club’s second week of Sponsors Cup at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

The Boysen Perlecente team of Jeffrey Cham, Edjing San Juan and Romi de Jesus grabbed the second spot with 2542 and Boysen team (Knoxout) of Albert Ong, Noel del Rosario and Zeny Prudente scored 2496 to place third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Ryan Jalandoon of ABC Phils. copped the bowler of the week plum by rolling a four-game series of 916.

Meanwhile, Famcor Classworks, composed of Ricky Martinez and Jun Cheng, is now on top with 24 points followed by Crown Pipes with 20 points. Crown Pipes Supreme is in third with 18 while Duraflex Wires has 16 points for fourth.

The tournament, backed by American Wires, Boysen Titan/Suede, Atlanta Pipes, Morning Sun, HCG Phils., Homeworks, Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., Concrete Ventures, Firefly-Royu, Eurodach Roof, Miraga Trading, ProActive Pest Control, Philflex Wires, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex TW Wires, DN Steel, August Alliance and Unitec Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the third Sponsors Cup, also at the Green Valley lanes.
