Phl youth joins Flying-V

MANILA, Philippines - The Phl Youth U-13 of head coach Mark Herrera is joining the Fil-Oil Flying-V Juniors Cup slated at The Arena in San Juan. 

 “This is just one of the tournaments I have lined up for the Phl Youth U-13 Team. This high-level competition is what they need to be able to play much taller and more experienced players in international play,” said Herrera, also the head coach of the University of the East Jr. Warriors and the four-peat Jr. PBA champions Talk ‘n Text-QC Team. 

Herrera said the RP Youth U-13 Team program includes free basketball clinics in Manila and soon in different cities in Metro Manila.   The programs are all supported by the SBP, headed by its chairman Manny V. Pangilinan and vice-president Ricky Vargas.
