Seasports festival up at Baywalk
MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Bay Summer Seasports Festival fires off at 8 a.m. tomorrow at the Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard with master bangkeros from Cebu, Iloilo, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Cavite, Quezon, Batangas, Bulacan, Surigao, Mindoro, Leyte, Aklan, Navotas, and Tondo seeing action.
On Sunday, the dragon boat competitions get underway at 8 a.m., along with semifinal and championship rounds for the bancathon. To cap the two-day event, organizers will hold an awards night and mini concert at 6 p.m. featuring master rappers Andrew E and Blakdyak, together with the Go Girls and Viva Hot Babe Jaycee Parker.
The Manila Bay Summer Seasports Festival is organized by the Manila Broadcasting Company together with the City of Manila, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard, Smart Communications, Caltex, Gold Eagle Beer, Alaxan, Zesto, Filinvest, M. Lhuillier, Choco Quick, Wings Detergent, Briggs and Stratton, as well as Cord Marine Epoxy.
