DC tie live on Aksyon TV

MANILA, Philippines –  Aksyon TV UHF Channel 41 will air the Philippines-Japan Davis Cup tie live from the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Cebu City.

The Philippines’ first non-stop news and sports channel on free TV, beams the live telecast of the tie beginning at 10 a.m. for the opening singles and reverse singles, respectively, and 12 noon tomorrow for the doubles.

Also to be shown are video clips of the formal unveiling of the playing venue (Feb. 18), the arrival of Team Philippines and the succeeding airport caravan and press conference last Feb. 21, the separate arrival of the Japanese squad (Feb. 26), Fans Day in both Cebu City and Lapu Lapu City (Feb. 24 and 27), the pre-draw presscon (March 2) and the formal drawing of lots (March 3).
