AKCUPI dog show slated at Tiendesitas

MANILA, Philippines - The Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines (AKCUPI) will stage the All-Breed Dog Shows this Sunday at Tiendesitas in Pasig City with Richard Lashbrook of the American Kennel Club (AKC), Jung Chang Sik of the Korean Kennel Club (KKC) and Tang Fu Li of Taiwan composing the roster of adjudicators.

Lashbrook is known for showing Miniature Schnauzers, Chihuahua, Japanese Chin and Samoyed under the kennel “Haybrook” which won in National and Regional Specialty Shows. He is the vice-president of the Land of Lincoln Chihuahua Club and a member of the American Miniature Schnauzer Club (AMSC), Japanese Chin Club of America, Illinois Capitol Kennel Club (ICKC) and Samoyed Club of America (SCA). 

Lashbrook has officiated shows all over the US and some Asian countries.

Sik, who has been a member of KKC since 1988, operates a training school for Police Dogs in Busan, breeds about 150 dogs, and has been keeping hunting dogs for 25 years. He is a full-time professor at Pets Department of Busan and at the Women’s University in Korea which has industrial and educational cooperation with KCC. In 2004 he became the chief judge of his KKC. He was granted as an international judge in 2006. Currently he is a board of director of the Korean Kennel Club.
