Unilab's Run United 1 fires off Sunday

MANILA, Philippines - The Run United 1 2011, the first leg of the RunRio Trilogy, will be held Sunday at Fort Bonifacio Global City with a big field expected to clash for top honors in various divisions.

Events on tap are the 500m for kids set at 7 a.m., the 5k set at 5:50 a.m., the 10k at 5:30 a.m. and the centerpiece 21k race firing off at 5:15 a.m.

The event, held for the benefit of Gawad Kalusugan, also features the Unilab Active Health Village, which offers free health diagnostics, fitness consultation and a daycare for the kids. ActiveHealth Village is divided into three zones: Active Kids, Active Adults and Active Seniors.
