Lascuña two down in Avantha Masters

-

MANILA, Philippines –  Tony Lascuña turned in a three-under par 69 to trail England’s Mark Foster and Julio Zapata by two strokes at the start of the $1.8 million Avantha Masters at the DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi, India yesterday.

Thick fog around the par-72 layout delayed the start of the Asian Tour leg for almost four hours with Lascuña teeing off early afternoon before joining three others at dusk with that 69 with half of the field to complete play early Friday.

Foster and Zapata shot identical 67s to post a provisional one-shot lead over Thai Chapchai Nirap, Rashid Khan of India and Bernd Wiesberger, who all had 68s.
