'Gameday with Boom' on at Balls

MANILA, Philippines - Balls (Skycable Channel 34), the home of the world’s biggest sporting events, has just launched “Gameday with Boom Gonzalez,” a daily sports news on Mondays through Fridays at 8:30 p.m.

The 30-minute nightly sportscast features the hottest and the best in the world of sports from basketball to tennis to golf to football and UFC.

Hosted by noted sportscaster, collegiate game announcer and radio jock Boom Gonzalez, Gameday also showcases sports features, trivia and even viewers’ reactions on today’s most-talked-about sporting events.

“I’m extremely overjoyed to do a sportscast on TV, especially on Balls. This is something I’m really passionate about. I’m happy that with Gameday’s daily offering, people can now get fresh updates on the most recent happenings in sports,” said Gonzalez.

“So much is happening in the sports world that we feel there’s a need for this. We feel two or three minutes of sports updates is not enough,” Gonzalez said.

Starting March 1, the show will have replays the morning after at 7:30 a.m.
