Luntian tourney set at Orchard

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Luntian Immanuel golf tournament will be held Feb. 18 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club’s Palmer course in Dasmariñas, Cavite with proceeds to fund the Center for Environmental Law and Protection various projects.

Registration is ongoing with fee pegged at P3,000, inclusive of green fee, buffet lunch, Luntian Immanuel merchandise and a chance to win a Nissan Murano in the grand raffle.

According to tournament director and founder Atty. Ramon Esguerra and the Asia Pacific Bar Association (APBAR), the 18-hole fund-raiser will help support the programs of CELP, a joint project of Sen. Francis Escudero and former Chief Justice Reynato Puno through the APBAR.

Escudero has been invited to hit the ceremonial drive at 7:45 a.m. with the shotgun start tee off set at 8 a.m.

“The Immanuel golf tournament started out as a simple way of giving back. For the past six years, proceeds of the tournament have been donated to different institutions. This year, I am glad to contribute to the protection of the environment,” said Esguerra.

The APBAR, thru its president, Atty. Roberto Rafael Lucila, has expressed its gratitude to Luntian Immanuel for making the environmental project as the beneficiary of this year’s tournament.
