Del Rosario rules ABC bowlfest

MANILA, Philippines - Noel del Rosario of Unitec Pipes turned in a six-game series of 1433 to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s singles one-group with handicap crown at the Green Valley bowling lanes in Pasig City last week.

Eugene Panaguiton of DN Steel finished second with 1313 while Benny Tan of Atlanta Tiles scored 1305 to place third. Jimmy Ocampo of American Wires came in fourth with 1305 while Dante Manglicmot of Emerald Vinyl shot 1295 to finish fifth in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, Del Rosario, also the ABC president, is inviting all licensed architects to join the event held every Tuesday as ABC braces for its 34th anniversary in Bangkok, Thailand in May.

The tournament, backed by SP&A Const., Firefly-Royu, Hocheng Phils., Philflex Wires and Cables, Euro Dach, Duraflex, ABC Phils., Supreme Pipes Corp., ProActive Pest Control, Crown Pipes, Boysen Konstruct/Knoxout/Virtuoso, Concrete Ventures and Famcor, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the four-man team, also at the Green Valley lanes.
