Jalandons triumph in ABC bowling
MANILA, Philippines - Brothers Denis and Ryan Jalandon rolled big games to rule their respective divisions in the Architects Bowling Club monthly championship at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig last week.
Denis of Concrete Ventures fired a six-game series 1372 to beat Hermi Prudente (1309) of Firefly-ROYU, Manny Padit (1307) of Philflex Wires and Cables and Joan Mendoza (1251) of Boysen Paints for the Group 1 crown in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Ryan of Famcor annexed the Group 2 plum with 1147 pinfalls turned back Tony Naval (3075) of Crown Pipes, Malou del Rosario (1064) of Supreme Steel Pipes Corp. and Edna Beltran (1062) of Boysen Virtuoso.
The tournament is supported by DN Steel, Boysen Knoxout/Konstruct, ABC Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Duraflex/American Wires, Atlanta Tiles and Hocheng (HCG) Phils. Other supporters are Emerald Vinyl, SP & A Constructions and Unitec Pipes.
The Singles one-group with handicap is slated today.
